How long have you been with VistaComm?
I have had the privilege of working at VistaComm and serving our clients for over 13 years.
Where is your hometown?
I was born and raised in Montevideo, a wonderful rural community in west-central Minnesota.
What is a typical day like for you at VistaComm?
No day is ever the same— which is exciting! My days at VistaComm are fast-paced and focused on working with new prospects and existing clients, sharing our products and services with them to ultimately help them put a plan in place to market and communicate more effectively and efficiently. I have the opportunity to talk with many different people in the agricultural industry across the U.S. every day.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I spend a lot of time with my family. Whether going on a special vacation, attending school and athletic events, or a spur-of-the-moment backyard barbeque, every moment is precious. After a life-changing event, I have truly learned to never take a single day or family member for granted.
What profession, other than your own, would you like to try?
I have a passion for home decorating. I’d love to open my own unique home furniture and accessory boutique.
Who is your favorite fictional character?
Benjamin Martin from the movie The Patriot. He stood against those things he didn’t believe in and, through great adversity and personal loss, fought for what he held dear.
What is the most interesting place you’ve visited?
I love to visit Chicago and San Francisco. There is so much to see and do in these cities. The architecture and row house neighborhoods are marvelous and intriguing to me. We’ve been able to visit many museums and unique attractions in these cities. Now if you asked about the most fun place…I’d have to say the beaches of Hawaii or Florida.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
It’s actually from a Bible scripture—Matthew 19:26: With God all Things are Possible.
What is your proudest VistaComm moment?
Any time I can work with our team to help a client grow their business is a proud moment for me. Knowing our work results in a successful, happy client is the driving force behind what I do every day.
