Carbon Green BioEnergy (Carbon Green) is the first biofuels production facility in the United States to create its own ethanol brand. The company went online in 2006 at a plant production capacity of 40 million gallons of ethanol per year. Today, Carbon Green BioEnergy produces at 55 million gallons of biofuel annually.
Carbon Green wanted a new state-of-the-art, user-friendly website. Their informational and educational goals were foremost on their list of site requirements, and they viewed functionality as key in drawing users to their site and keeping them there. Other messages to be communicated: an allegiance to the state of Michigan and the benefits of strong corporate partnerships.
The VistaComm digital design and content team delivered a clean, focused website layout that seamlessly directed the user to each important piece of information. Maintaining Carbon Green’s brand identity, more vibrancy was added to both color and motion in order to portray energy and inspire confidence in the company.
Messaging is concise but bold in its positive testimony of Carbon Green as a business partner. The finished site gives the company the capacity to always communicate the latest industry news through an active message center and current news links.
Interactivity adds real feeling to the Carbon Green website that incorporates seamless scrolling, fixed headers, fade loading effects, animation, rotating images and hover elements, helping the site employ movement and keep the visuals interesting.
“VistaComm worked closely with us to guide us step-by-step through our website creation and launch. And it functions so well with unique interactivity, a message center, automatic emails and everything we need to run an important part of our business—electronically!”
