I’m always happy to discuss technology, but realize it’s not everyone’s favorite topic. I understand that some people may not find their passion in the digital world.
In today’s marketplace, it’s not as crucial that you become an expert on the ins and outs of how technology actually works. You don’t necessarily need to know how to build it. However, the really important thing to remember is when customers and potential customers visit your website, they EXPECT the best experience—regardless of the type of device they’re using.
What happens when your customers don’t get a good experience? Let’s take an example from a Google survey of just over 1,000 U.S. smartphone Internet users. Nearly two-thirds said they would abandon a mobile site if they don’t see what they want right away. Half of the respondents said even when they like a business, they’ll use that company less frequently if the website isn’t mobile-friendly.
Responsive website design is our specialty
Put simply, a responsive website will adapt to whatever device it is being viewed on—from widescreen HD monitors to smartphones.
At VistaComm, we specialize in using the responsive design technique for all of our SmartSites™. We’ve successfully taken this approach for the past two years on behalf of many satisfied customers.
Here’s one example:
“Our new SmartSite is great. It’s easy to maintain, and mobile technology programmed within the site provides our customers with a great user experience. Thanks to the VistaComm staff, the turnkey process of developing our new site went very smoothly.”

One thing is certain: there’s no doubt a Mobile First approach is becoming more and more crucial when it comes to doing business. Luke Wroblewski, who first coined the Mobile First concept, reports as many as 2 million mobile devices entering the world each day. Knowing that, does your website meet the needs of your current and future customers? Are you seizing the opportunity to connect with a wide audience?
